We have a very simple 3 step process for enrollment, but before we begin that process, you and I will have a private confidential conversation about the best options for your Child.

If – for some reason we are unable or it is not appropriate to admit your Child at this time, we will make recommendations concerning appropriate options available to you.

We may suggest strategies to help you monitor the situation or the need for immediate action. In either case, we will guide you step by step. Remember – Our Goal is very simple – Help YOU help your Child.

Once your Child is admitted to Eagle Ranch Academy, and arrangements are made for him/her to be brought to our Campus (we will help you with these arrangements).

He/she will be carefully and completely evaluated by our Clinical Staff, and an individualized program prescribed for him/her.

He/she will be a Resident Student on our modern, comfortable 2 & 2/3 acre Campus in St. George, Utah. It is perfectly situated for the structured and focused environment necessary for the “whole family” approach used by our Youth Development Specialists.

Students live together in a home type atmosphere in a Residential Campus setting where they develop responsibility, work ethic, self-esteem, and appropriate social and life skills.

Privileges are earned in a value based environment where jobs performed and appropriate behavior is rewarded, and life skills are developed and appreciated by the Student.

Education for credit through individualized instruction, therapy by a licensed therapist, fitness and nutrition by certified professionals, and the opportunity for introspection are ensured.

Parental involvement at Eagle Ranch is paramount.

Positive communication is achieved through email and telephone conversations with our therapists, administrators, and students. Parents are encouraged to participate in seminars offered at Eagle Ranch. During this time, family therapy sessions are offered to address family concerns. This gives the child and family the opportunity for success.

Eagle Ranch Academy is a licensed residential treatment facility. The students are under the responsibility of our staff night and day. Our physician makes regular visits to the Campus and is on call 24 hours a day. The menus are developed by a certified nutritionist. The food served is in compliance with the food and nutrition guidelines provided by the State. Work out and fitness programs are conducted by a fitness trainer, and diet and weight control programs are administered as appropriate.

Your Child’s daily routine will include:
  • Wake up & personal hygiene (7am)
  • Light Calisthenics
  • Breakfast (and Breakfast Chores. E.g. Set table, clean up, wash dishes, etc.)
  • Group Goal Setting
  • School (Individualized studies with Teacher)
  • Lunch (and Lunch Chores)
  • School/Life Skills/Individual Instruction
  • Fitness Activity (Routine activities as well as varied activities)
  • Dinner (and Dinner Chores)
  • Group Therapy
  • Quiet Time – Reflection Time – Bed Time (9pm)
Weekend routine will include:
  • Saturday: Chores, general clean up, study time, sports & recreational activity, movie, etc.
  • Sunday: Later wake up for brunch provides a change of pace for Students. Religious studies are available and encouraged based on Parents preferences. Inspirational Services conducted by Students, Staff, and Guest Speakers. A variety of sports, recreational, cultural, local attractions, and movies will be provided.
The daily & weekend routines will vary at times to involve activities such as:
  • Ranch Work Projects
  • Community Work or Service Projects
  • Recreational and/or Social Activity mostly on Campus, but occasionally on the Ranch, in the city (St. George), at the College (Dixie State College), and local area attractions such as Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, etc.

From the time your Child arrives at the Campus – Goals are set and worked towards, and as each step is made he or she is rewarded, and then presented with new challenges until ultimately he/she is ready to return home, and once again begin to enjoy his or her youth with family and friends.

When your Child returns home, our job is not finished. We continue to communicate with you and your Child, and help monitor his or her well being. Your Child will reflect proudly of his/her accomplishments at Eagle Ranch Academy. He or she will be one of our very important Alumni, and from time to time he/she may choose to participate in our very unique Alumni Program.

Your Child’s time at Eagle Ranch will be life altering, and for some it could even be life saving.

Your Child will not only be more tuned in to the importance of the family, and the role they play in their family; but they will also be more tuned in to the talents they possess, and how to better use those talents for the benefit of not only themselves, but for others as well.

The Bottom Line – young people with special talents need to know there are consequences for the choices they make – good and bad; and although being “special” doesn’t shield them from the negative results of bad choices, it does afford them the opportunity for great accomplishments through good choices.

Our purpose at Eagle Ranch Academy is to affect the lives of young men and women and their families in a way that creates a solid foundation for a productive and fulfilling life.
