Residential Treatment Center Program for Troubled Teens (Coed ages 12-17)

Eagle Ranch Academy was founded by two successful football coaches that have spent a lifetime helping talented but often troubled teens develop attitudes and strategies for maximizing their abilities and achieving great success in their lives (see Bio pages for more details):

Paul Arslanian (Professional & College Coach) is the Executive Director of ERA, and runs the day to day operations along with hands on teaching and mentoring of the Students.

Dave Arslanian (former Head Coach Snow College, Weber State, and Utah State University) is the Director of Admissions & Placement for the Ranch and is closely involved with the Parents and Students as they progress through the program and beyond.

Dave Arslanian says - "As a former head coach, I know the value of having a good team around you. We have assembled an outstanding team of Youth Development Professionals to help us in this important endeavor. As Coaches, we have worked with talented, gifted, but sometimes troubled teens; and through the years we became acutely aware of the need for intervention programs that can redirect and in some cases save a life. While Parents feel powerless, good young people head down the wrong path with little to stop them; while peer pressure or poor choices push them further away from a healthy, productive, and fulfilling life. Our Goal is simply stated - help Parents help their Children get their lives on track."

Eagle Ranch Academy is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of troubled teens. Our focus is on troubled teens struggling with issues, but with special talents - academic, athletic, leadership, performing arts, or some other special ability. We believe these young people will someday make significant contributions to themselves, their families, and to OUR Communities. All they need is to get back on track with their lives, and once again begin to enjoy their youth with their families and friends, and have the opportunity to maximize their special talents.

• Eagle Ranch Academy is a residential education program for gifted but struggling teens, ages 12-17. Licensed by the State of Utah as a Residential Treatment Program, with an extensive accredited academic and life skills program for its Students.
  
  
• ERA has a Residential School Campus, plus access to a 500 acre working Ranch for special projects and activities.
  
  
• The Campus is a modern, built to order school located on 2½ acres in St. George, Utah. The Ranch is located 35 minutes west of St. George on a beautiful and secure 500 acre Ranch.
  
  
• Together, these settings create an environment where personal accountability leads Students towards academic achievement, emotional health, and a successful future.
  
  
• Problems include but not limited to - Great ability but poor performance, Out of Control Behavior, Angry & Defiant, Sullen & Distant, Drug/Alcohol Use, Divorce/Adoption Issues, Avoidance/Run Away Issues, Negative Peer Group, Medically Diagnosed Issues (ADDA, ADHD, Addictions, Weight Control, Teen Depression, etc.)
  
  
• Solutions come from a state of the art Behavior Changing Value Based Program administered by some of the best professionals in the business.
  
  
• Limited enrollment of 48 Students allows ERA to 1st Solve the problems, and 2nd - Teach Students how to maximize their abilities, and develop strategies for enhancing those abilities to levels the Student never thought possible.
  
  
• Intensive therapy, accredited academics, fitness and nutrition training, life skills, and self introspection are all part of the program.
